Buse (AKA Boosie) is a multifaceted, many talented creative based in Western Sydney.

As a photographer and videographer she's able to work everything from soft film glow with natural light to jewel bright studio shots of her favourite shoes. She's recently teamed up with artist @zaramutti to create Word On The Street, a photo/video series telling the stories of the Sydney community.

As a DJ she plays a potent, Soulection inspired combo of RnB, rap, raucous baile funk flips, and afrobeat to heaving dance floors around the city and for mix series' worldwide. Catch her at the nearest Sauti Systems when 'rona is finally over.

Buse's Iso Tips

Pre-COVID, I was never really home. I was always working and when I wasn't, I'd be working more (freelancing) and spending time with my friends and djing at parties and events. So being cooped up at home everyday was a bit of a challenge for me, but it happened to be one of the best things that came out of this, because I got to do so much with all the time I had and learnt many valuable things which have now kinda stuck with me.
I made a mini basketball plant which was fun and was something to look forward to and now I'm in the midst of making a pillowcase.

I always wanted to do a cork and canvas but with rona hitting us, my friends and I did a zoom version of cork and canvas and it was so much fun.
Having so much time in my hands also allowed me to get back into my work and focus on photography/videography. This is my friend Genevieves feet and shoes. She has the best collection of Jordans.
Not only have these past few months been very painful for the black and Indigenous community, but it's been their whole lives. The amount of sympathy and pain I feel for the black community can never amount to theirs. As an ethnic woman with privilege, I will never not stand for those who have shaped the way we live, the music we listen to, the clothing we wear.
Without black culture, there is no culture and we owe it to our friends, our neighbours, our colleagues and the whole BIPOC community. ALL Black lives matter. Yesterday, today and for the rest of mankind. PERIOD.
